It's August 2008 and I've finally graduated college!!! I was informed that my mom and me would be taking a girls trip to a place I'd always wanted to go but she wouldn't tell me where. Well... my dad let it slip and the surprise trip was to PUERTO RICO! My mom had planned a fun get away for the two of us that included a trip into the rain forest, a kayak tour of a bioluminescent bay (unfortunately we couldn't take pictures - trust me mom tried), and the super treat - we stayed at The Ritz-Carlton AND she had scheduled appointments for a spa treatment for me every day we were there! If you've read my other posts and haven't figured it out yet, I have the best mom ever!! :)

into the trip, I received a hot stone massage. Doesn't sound too sad??
Well it ended in a second degree burn on my back, so it was indeed sad.
The hotel even called a doctor into our room to treat me.
I had to spend the rest of the trip laying out in a t-shirt. :( I have pictures
of the burn, but figured I would spare you the disgusting visual.

Such an AMAZING treat for all my hard work in school! A college degree and a fabulous mother, daughter trip. Doesn't get much better :)
