Born and raised in a small town in central Alabama, I began traveling the U.S. with my family at a very young age. By the time I graduated high school I had visited well over half of the 52 states and other jurisdictions, and U.S. territories. In college, I was blessed with the opportunity to study abroad for a summer where I lived with a family in Madrid, Spain. My mom joined me after I completed my studies, and we continued our travels to Greece. When I was presented with the chance to spend 3 weeks backpacking through Europe only 6 months later, I jumped at the opportunity and I continue to embrace every adventure that falls in my path today. With less than 10 states and U.S. territories left on my list and a handful of countries already checked off, my wanderlust grows more intense with every journey.
Please join me on "A Life Hiatus" as I re-live previous travels, embark on new adventures, and dream of future destinations. As Shakespeare said, "All the world's a stage". As performers in the production of "Life", we deserve an occasional hiatus.
